You may have owned an auto that caused you nothing but grief. Lots of us have. I actually determined that making motor vehicle gifts to a non-profit is a workable choice for anyone who has a dead heap of automobile sitting in his driveway. Even if the vehicle runs you might be better off donating rather than selling.

After my beater vehicle died, I found myself going to used car lots and trying to trade it for one of the collection of other used cars or even get the “cash for used cars” option but that was not going to take place. So I decided to investigate motor vehicle donations for a charitable foundation as an alternate choice. I detested the idea of selling the piece of junk to somebody who would not know how to fix it. It would most likely end up in the hands of a youthful couple that could not afford to update it correctly. The last thing I desired was for someone to get hurt in my old motor vehicle.

I researched my options with the charities and I made some great discoveries. Most vehicle gifts to charity programs take many different varieties of vehicles. This includes trucks, boats and recreational vehicles. They will even take trailers as well. If you have any of these things you could make tax refundable motor vehicle gifts to a charitable foundation.

I also found out that the vehicle doesn’t need to be in working condition in order for it to be eligible for pick up. One thing to bear in mind when mulling over car donations to a charitable foundation is the value of the vehicle. Don’t bother donating one that isn’t worth the cost of towing. That isn’t really charitable. In fact, you would be utilizing the charity as a towing service.

You can find out if the vehicle is appropriate for motor vehicle gifts to a non-profit by contacting a neighborhood representative or filling out an online form. In a matter of a few moments you can get all of the information necessary to donate a vehicle to a social justice cause.

Moving the car to its new house is really simple for the owner. After you fill out the necessary paperwork, the organizations that run vehicle donations for charitable organizations will arrange for the motor vehicle, trailer or vessel to be towed. The item will be removed by an expert towing company.

The best thing about the technique aside from its simplicity and convenience is that the car gifts to charity are tax deductible in most occasions. You can expect up to 500 bucks in tax refunds. If the car sells for more then the association will send you a printed receipt for the difference.

What do you do after you’ve donated your vehicle? Reliable used cars are a great option – find out more information here.

What do you do when it is time to replace your old truck but the finances are just not available? One alternative is to look at used trucks.

Used trucks are available in all makes and models. In addition, you can find used trucks in all different conditions. You can find trucks that are nothing but beaters or that are still in showroom condition that all have one thing in common, which is that they have been used.

Although it may take some work on your part, diligent searching will turn up a truck that is exactly right for you and your purposes. In addition, you will find the vehicle which is in the right price range. Here are some hints to help you to find the perfect truck.

One of the best sources of used trucks is a new car dealer. You will find that there are still persons who will trade in their vehicle on a regular basis. At times at the new car dealer, you will find used trucks that are one year old or even newer. The advantage of these trucks is that someone else has paid the markup to drive them off the showroom floor the first time. Many of these trucks have a manufacturer’s warranty available.

Used car dealers also are a source for used trucks. Their trucks may not be as new as the ones from the new vehicle dealer. They also may not be able to offer a factory warranty on the vehicle. One word of caution is to avoid those used car dealers that buy vehicles from auction houses. These vehicles are often the rejects from new car dealers.

Used trucks may also be bought from private parties. If you find a private party who has decided to sell his own vehicle rather than take the loss of a trade in value, you can get some really great deals. Sometimes you can find these vehicles at even better prices and in just as good of shape as used vehicles found at new car dealerships.

When looking to buy a vehicle from a private party, don’t forget the want ads of your local newspaper. Also, be sure to check online for vehicles for sale in your area. In particular, do not forget to check out Craigslist.

There is a reward for those who diligently search used trucks. That reward is a truck that will give you many years of service at thousands of dollars in savings.

You don’t need to go to a car lot to sell your truck. You can go to a used pickup truck dealer and make a deal for your vehicle.

by Colin Jones

Hybrid cars are on everyone’s minds these days. $20, $30, $40 or even $50 for a tank of fuel? Who really wants to pay that sort of money? But, frustrated, the petrol consumer sighs, but pays up. However, hybrid vehicles are being richly applauded for the small amount of fuel they need to operate, and they are flying off the lots of car dealerships each and everyday in ever increasing numbers.

However, what about a plug-in hybrid? Most drivers have heard that these cars are fantastic too. Then, someone might be asking him or herself, what exactly a plug-in hybrid is? How they work, and what the difference between a plug-in hybrid and a regular hybrid is?

Plug-in hybrid cars are capable of running just on batteries, but they can also use gas also. These types of hybrid cars share some of the features of hybrid vehicles. They are also very similar to all-electric vehicles.

Plug-in hybrid cars need to be recharged externally by connecting a plug to an electrical power source. The combustion engine in plug-in hybrid vehicles is engaged only as a back up. These cars can run only on batteries if desired, but it is expected that these types of hybrid cars are recharged every day.

Hybrid cars can go just as many miles as a conventional car. Designed to go the extra mile where fuel-mileage is concerned, hybrids can be driven on the highway, in cities, or wherever else anybody wants to go.

On the other hand, plug-in hybrids are designed to handle commuter-type distances, meaning about twenty to sixty miles between destinations. This way, the plug-in hybrid does not have to use its back up combustion engine, but plug-in hybrids can go further using gas too.

Hybrids help to reduce pollution, but they do still pollute the air. Compared with plug-in hybrids, hybrid cars still have a long way to go as far as pollution is concerned. Because plug-in hybrid cars can run solely on their battery power, they don’t have to emit waste gases at all.

Plug-in hybrids actually do fight against greenhouse gas emissions and plug-in hybrids use virtually no oil imported or not. Studies have shown that electric hybrids emit at least 67% less greenhouse gases compared with petrol cars. Since the product used to power plug-in hybrids is renewable, the difference in greenhouse gas emissions may be even greater than the study showed.

And so there you have it. Those are the main differences between plug-in hybrids and regular hybrid cars. It makes a big difference, but you would be surprised how little that matters at the current moment. And that’s only because plug-in hybrids are not being sold to consumers at this present time. But this article should get you excited about the wonderful plug-in hybrid car, coming soon to a forecourt near you.

And it’s going to be a great debut too. People already really like regular hybrid cars, but they haven’t seen anything until they see the new plug-in hybrid cars. However, for now, maybe they should just be satisfied with what they have, because who knows? Before plug-in hybrid cars come out, something even better might be introduced onto the market.

One of the greatest innovations in the history of the world is a website called eBay. You’ve probably heard of it, so I don’t really need to introduce too much of what it is. Basically, eBay is a place where you can go and find things to buy. Or you can sell your old stuff that you don’t need anymore.

The reason that eBay is such a big success is that it is a fantastic place to get great deals on things that you would never be able to find locally. It’s sort of like taking the classified ads section of your local newspaper but syndicating across the entire nation. Instead of just selling to people in your town, you can sell to the people all across the country.

Auto parts are great thing to find on eBay because you can save money doing it. shopping online is almost always cheaper than buying the store, and this is no exception. Buying your auto parts online is a great way to save a bundle. It’s taken the whole catalog business, and maybe even more efficient, which saves you that much more money.

Using eBay, it’s like going to an auto parts store that has every auto part ever made available to buy at a reasonable price. In a lot of ways it’s like the greatest auto parts store in the world. you can find parts for just about any car ever made and not only that but you can find them for a whole lot less than you would find them at a local store. It takes the guesswork out of finding what you’re looking for.

What kind of car parts can you find? Well, if you are looking for car hoods, custom bumpers, a hard-to-find import car part, or just about anything else it’s on eBay. Just about every product known to mankind has or will be listed on eBay at some point. If someone sells that they probably sell it on eBay.

Compare that to your local auto parts store. if they don’t have the part you have to order it if they can order it. You’re out of luck. No dice, better luck next time.

On eBay, you can almost always find what you’re looking for and even if you can’t find it. You can post that you are looking for a particular product and sellers can find it for you. Also, the prices on eBay are almost guaranteed to be cheaper because it is a much more efficient market system.

All in all, buying auto parts on eBay is just a more efficient way to do it, assuming that the unavailable locally. Also, your options are going to be so much better online that you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for. Not just what’s available.

Plans for HHO generator can be searched for on the web. HHO gas has been looked at as experimental and you can find forums or communities that talk about fuel saving devices that could increase gas mileage. As fuel prices increase at the pump you will notice more fuel saving devices or supplements introduced to the marketplace.

With gasoline soaring to new highs people are looking for ways to increase gas mileage. Many gas additives and devices exist claiming to get better gas mileage. HHO gas is coming to the forefront and has made news headlines as another possible source for supplementing gasoline.

This technology can be used with diesel motors and some are trying it on other types of engines that depend on internal combustion. If you recall the conversions of cars and trucks that were converted to propane then you will find this conversion easier and less expensive requiring very few engine modifications. The water to gas kit or HHO fuel cell can be removed and leaves little trace of its existence.

Most people who have built HHO fuel cells from plans have claimed increasing gas mileage of 15 to 40 percent and some have suggested more. When you build a water for gas HHO cell you should be able to make one in a few hours in the comfort of your shop.

Plans for HHO fuel cell should be able to be followed by many entrepreneurs and can be considered a weekend project. It depends on the plans you have purchased but the ones I have allow for parts that can be found in the house, shop or around town saving you a lot of money.

When you have completed a HHO fuel cell consider testing it before placing it on the engine to make sure it is producing HHO gas. Often there is plenty of room under the hood of a car, truck or vehicle. In some cases more HHO cells are sometimes added to further increase gas mileage.

The information about vehicles running on water as fuel still seems surprising to many people. The idea of not having to rely further to the ever-increasing prices of gasoline alone while lessening air pollution at the same time is just too good to believe at times. Although not commercialized to public, many people are now turning to water fuel technology to power their cars.

Water-driven vehicles had been in used since the World War II, in which tanks and fighter engines use water to boost gas mileage and cool engine temperatures during rough times. While this technology provides many advantages and is in existence for almost about 90 years, it is not surprising that many people are still unfamiliar with it, or doubts its functionality. This is because once majority of the public made use of water instead of gasoline, many of the world’s main economies which depend largely on the oil industry will fail, as the demand for it will definitely drop.

Water fuel technology is not powered by water alone. Rather, the water only enhances the gasoline, improving your gas mileage by about 20%, and saving 90% of your gas usage. Water cannot be directly burned like a fuel, but gases can be extracted from it to be burned for energy. The electricity from your car’s battery passes through some distilled water, generating HHO (oxyhydrogen) gas. This gas is then connected to your air intake and mixed with your car’s fuel.

For about $50 to $200, the cost for the conversion of your car to support water fuel technology is convenient. You can either buy ready-made fully-assembled kits, or install it yourself by buying readily-available parts in local automobile and hardware stores for a much cheaper option.

HHO technology can run on 98% of vehicles, from motorcycles, cars, vans, buses and even trucks, and lets car owners save about 10% to 40% of gas bill. Not only does your car run cleaner, you’re also helping in preserving the environment by cutting out harmful carbon dioxide emissions. It is entirely safe to install one of these conversion kits, as it will not affect your car warranty in any way.

The most important thing is to do some research first should you decide to install this technology on your vehicle. Reliable water fuel systems provide a guide with extensive illustrations, photos and an easy to follow guide on how to successfully install water fuel systems. This information is explained by professional water fuel system experts who dedicate their time to installing HHO fuel converters. It costs just $75 to $100 for all the necessary parts which you will get back in no time at all on gas fuel savings. The actual installation only takes about two hours and using the easy-to-follow manual, you don’t have to be a professional mechanic to install this.

In light of the increasing gas prices, alternative fuel systems are becoming in demand. Apart from saving precious amounts of money on gasoline and other fuel products, you’ll also be turning your car cleaner and nature-friendly at the same time.

HHO gas or Brown’s gas is the latest new automotive product to help boost gas mileage and improve power and reduce emissions. Your car will be supplemented with water as fuel but will still be burning gasoline or diesel. Water will be concerted to burn with you gas through a process of electrolysis.

An HHO Generator creates HHO gas and is not exactly zero point energy but you can expect to see and increase in gas mileage of 20 – 50%. Some are even seeing increases above 50%. By adding extra cells it is often possible to increase gas mileage even more this is why it is best to have plans for a HHO kit.

HHO gas car kits sell online for hundreds or even thousands of dollars and they are worth every penny! Just think how much fuel savings you would have if per vehicle and if you had a fleet of vehicles the savings could be substantial! If you have a vehicle and you would like to make your own HHO or browns gas kit for your car or truck there is a lot of information available online.

HHo gas is can be burned in gas or diesel engines. This technology could help improve both diesel and gas mileage. By using using HHO gas you are using a gas that can be used by your engine as a supplement to help reduce your consumption of gasoline. This HHO gas is then mixed with your gasoline or diesel just before it enters the engine resulting in possible gas savings.

The benefits of a HHO gas hybrid technology are increased gas mileage in some cases doubling it, increase horsepower, better or smoother running engine and less emissions. When you buy a kit you often pay hundreds sometimes thousands of dollars and eventually it will pay for its self. They can be used on cars, trucks gas or diesel engines and take up very little space under the hood and require no major modifications. If for any reason such as the sale of your car you would like to remove the system it can be removed in several minutes without leaving a trace. This kits can actually be made at home for under $100 dollars per vehicle now that is cheap.

Well through the process of electrolysis the fuel cell filled with water and a catalyst such as baking soda is introduced to electrical current. This current is supplied by your vehicles battery and hydroxy or HHO gas is produced as the electrical current passes through usually stainless steel wires or plates. It is that simple. It is amazing how much energy water can store because on average driving the cell only needs to be topped off about once a month or less.

Many cars and truck have room near the firewall to put extra HHO cells. A V6 engine could benefits from additional cells. Very few modifications are required to hook up a cell. The overall benefits should be improved gas mileage.

There are forums online that talk about HHO gas or browns gas technology as an alternative energy to reduce car emissions, increase gas mileage and improve power. HHO devices for cars are starting to get noticed. This technology has even been brought up in the news for improving gas mileage so there are people who are using it with success to increase gas mileage.

I ask what is going on here in the USA? I am not a financial genius and I could be wrong but this is the way I see it. First we bailed out the banks because they gave out too many bad loans. These people who are financial geniuses gave out loans to people who could not afford them, hoping things would get better and the people could pay their Bills. Basically what they did was gambling. Its like me going to Las Vegas betting over and over on red figuring it will come up eventually and when it never does and I lose all my Money. I then go and ask for all of it back plus more! The Banks who gave the Mortgages where given a bail out of around 600 Billion Dollars so they could stay in business. Now as I have read for around half of that the Government could have paid off all those bad loans and helped poor American Families keep their homes. If all the bad loans where paid then would not that take care of all the Banks problems? Instead they gave super rich bankers who mad bad choices lots of Money so they can continue to make the same decisions that failed before and live their incredible lives that most of us can only dream about.

Now we have the same thing going on with the Auto industry. I do not understand why we would bail them out. It seems to me that if you run a business and you fail, well then you fail. Aren’t these the same auto makers who over charge us for their cars? I can not believe none these manufactures can make a car that will last much longer and run on less gas or some other type of cheaper fuel. The Auto industry and the men who run it have been a major controlling factor in the world for many years. Aren’t these the same Auto Tycoons that we have heard stories about them keeping all the new smaller car companies from starting up or “buying up” any competitor who comes up with a better Motor Vehicle for over the last half century? The story of Tucker and his dream of making a better car for hard working Americans, Was that not a true Story?

If these Auto Companies where left to go out of Business many Americans who work at these Companies factories would lose their jobs. I do care and understand that it would be very hard on them. Right now is a tough time for all Americans. But I believe that before the dust could even settle from these companies collapse, We would have many small car manufactures starting up making much better cars at lower prices. These cars would last many years longer then the current ones we drive and I can only guess would run much further on a gallon of gas or some other cheaper fuel source. I would bet that fuel would be much better for the environment. Soon after with the huge super powerful big Three of the auto industry no longer in control and maybe crushing any small start up auto manufacturers, We would have hundreds of small car companies all across the Country and soon many more jobs for everyone along with much better automobiles to drive around in that burn cleaner fuels. Who knows maybe we could even get those dam flying cars we where all promised as Kids!

This is a hard time for this country. I think it is evident in the choices the American people have made as of recent, that we now know we can no longer have the same people in power making the same mistakes. These companies and the people that have been controlling this Country have lead us down this road. It looks to me that now that we have reached the end of the road and there is a cliff. Those that have been leading us are now asking us all to trust them and jump off that cliff and fill in the gap so they can walk over us and allow them to continue leading the way !

The idea of this country has always been if you can build a better Mouse trap you can become a Millionaire. What it looks like to me is these people did not allow any one else to build a better Mouse trap. Then they sold the only traps available making them so they would last only a short time, While charging a real high price for them. It has got to the point where the people can not afford to buy new Mouse traps when the old ones brake and have decided they will either try to fix the old ones or just live with the mice. They need their money for other things more important then new Mouse Traps. Now like in the case of the auto Companies they are asking the Government to give them the Money the people can no longer afford to spend on their products.

Now is not the Money they are asking to be given the hard earned Money the Government has taken from the same people in Taxes who can no longer afford to buy these products! These Companies are getting the hard earned Money of the American People who can no longer afford to buy these over priced Vehicles, That last a much shorter time then the ones made 50 years ago. Now our Government who has been over taxing us for years is thinking about giving away 15 Billion dollars of our money.

What charities and programs are we going to have to cut so these Auto tycoons who have houses all over the world, Their own private Jets and pretty much anything they have ever wanted continue to get richer? Will this money come from our Schools? What about the Hungry Children of the USA? What about all those people who are out of work and those that are going to lose their homes the banks are foreclosing on? I bet 15 Billion dollars could really help them out.

America is the land of dreams. It is the Country where a man can be poor one day and rich the next if he has a good idea. There is nothing that says if you have a great Idea and then you make a Mistake and lose everything the Government will bail you out! We are not helping the poor Auto factory workers here, They most likely will loose his jobs any way. We are only helping the Rich Auto Tycoons to be able to pay for all their many luxuries! Do I think our Government will bail them out? Well to that all I have to say is take a look at who funded many of today’s politicians campaign and then you will have your answer?

Again I am not a financial Genius and I may have this all wrong I am only Your Bro L.J. James AmericanBikerX.com

Hybrid owners are the most influential force in changing the current landscape for vehicle sales. While many consumers are not yet ready to make the leap from traditional vehicles to their hybrid relatives, citing the higher price as a determining factor. For others, incentives such as tax breaks and saving money on gas consumption are two of the main factors for getting a hybrid. However, the underlying reason for choosing a hybrid is that it is environmentally friendly. Here is how going green by buying a hybrid can benefit you and the planet:

1. Lower Emissions: Because hybrids rely on electricity for a portion of their power output, they get noticeably better gas mileage than their traditional counterparts. Using less gas results in less chemical emissions such as dioxide and nitrogen oxide. According to a recent study by the EPA, they emit 90% less fumes and other toxic elements into the air.

2. Gas Issues: It’s no secret that acquiring gas and oil has become a major problem worldwide. The prospect of adding more oil refineries sounds good in theory, but in actuality would only add to the amount of pollution in the air. Finding alternative sources for gas and oil is more difficult than it seems. If we as consumers can use less gas, we will ultimately depend less on other countries for it and it will lead in a decrease of our natural resources.

3. Health Issues: With all those toxins being released into the air, the human body is destined to be effected. Breathing large amounts of carbon dioxide, a lead and other chemical emitted by gas only vehicles is certainly detrimental to our well-being. These chemicals have been linked to suh ailments as cancer, birth defects and other preventable diseases.

4. Get on the Environmental Bandwagon: There are a lot of people who have eagerly gotten behind the hybrid trend, but there are others who haven’t. Money is the main issue for choosing a traditional all gas vehicle as opposed to a hybrid. Those who have made the hybrid choice are helping us all become more environmentally conscious. All those people buying hybrids are driving the market price for them down, which will lead to more buyers.

5. Send a Message to the Government: The government wants to find ways to be less dependent on foreign sources for oil, thus they have begun offering tax credits for those who choose to purchase a hybrid. Every consumer who buys a hybrid vehicle is eligible for a tax credit of up to $3,000. Only when we choose hybrid vehicles over gas only ones, will the government begin to take environmental issues seriously.
