Will alternative energy jobs save us from ourselves? The state of the planet is in serious condition and we need to take some serious action in order to change the way things are. Water pollution, toxic air, and even indoor air pollutants are taking over the world in a steady pattern. Ground level ozone lingers on our door steps and we are now finally turning to renewable energy jobs to reverse the problem.

Looking for a job used to be an easy process. You would buy your local newspaper, get to the classifieds section and look for employment ads that would match your employment profile and needs. While the arrival of the Web a decade ago took the job market to the next level by increasing the number of opportunities available to both candidates and employers, this also made the job search world more competitive than ever, most particularly during these months of strong unemployment. One of the major concerns that students have at the time they are commencing a degree online is just how a future work place is likely to view their education. Will a business look down on their online degree thinking it is less valuable than a standard bachelors degree?

One of the largest issues that individuals hold pertaining to an online bachelors of psychology degree is how employers are going to react to it. Will they perceive that it’s lesser than a traditional psychology degree, or will they accept it as equal or perhaps even think more highly of one?

Distance learning degrees and online degree programs have become popular since the internet became a household name. This has opened doors to a great opportunity for those wishing to pursue further education. But just as it is with everything new, the internet has also presented challenges and created room for sale of unscrupulous degrees and diplomas. The figures released by USA Today indicate that in 2003, over 400 diploma mills were in operation and the number was on the increase. Surprisingly, this dubious operation of degree mills seems to be thriving in an industry currently estimated at $500 million per year.
